Our Story
Their legacy of light and love lives on.
Blair and Brooke grew up in Dallas with their parents, RJ and Annie, and their grandparents, Mike and Charlene, who loved their grandchildren with a passion and always sought to give them the best life possible.
Two sisters
Blair, thirteen, was an excellent student, altar server, friend, artist, and chef. She was sweet, kind, loving, compassionate and prayed the rosary every night. Blair was the model thirteen year old; a person for girls her age to aspire to achieve.
Brooke, eleven, was a ball of pure energy and joy. She was a star athlete and competitor taking on every challenge with determination and strength. She was also a friend to all and the glue who brought people together through her fun demeanor and ability to make everyone around her constantly laugh. Brooke was a leader and always beat to her own drum.
A message of beauty, strength, and faith in God
My name is RJ Harber and on July 4th, 2025 at 3:30 a.m. my beautiful daughters Blair and Brooke sent one final message out into this world. It was a text sent to myself and their mother Annie saying “I love you.” It was a message of beauty, strength, and faith in God.
Shortly after, they, along with their loving grandparents, Mike and Charlene Harber, were swept away by the raging river caused by the Kerr County, Texas flood. While their lives may have been cut short that terrible night, their legacy of light and love lives on.
By donating to The Blair & Brooke Harber Beloved Sisters Fund you will help others in need and honor the memory of the Harber sisters and family.
