My name is RJ Harber and on July 4th, 2025 at 3:30 a.m. my beautiful daughters Blair and Brooke sent one final message out into this world. It was a text sent to myself and their mother Annie saying "I love you." It was a message of beauty, strength, and faith in God. Shortly after, they, along with their loving grandparents, Mike and Charlene Harber, were swept away by the raging river caused by the Kerr County, Texas flood. While their lives may have been cut short that terrible night, their legacy of light and love lives on. Our Story
Honoring Our Legacy
Brooke, eleven, was a ball of pure energy and joy. She was a star athlete and competitor taking on every challenge with determination and strength. She was also a friend to all and brought people together through her fun demeanor and ability to make everyone around her constantly laugh.
Blair, thirteen, was an excellent student, altar server, and chef. She was sweet, kind, loving, and compassionate and prayed the rosary every night. Mike and Charlene loved their grandchildren with a passion and always sought to give them the best life possible.
Money contributed to the Fund will honor the legacy of Blair and Brooke by investing in:
- Athletic and lacrosse programs.
- Education.
- Community support.
- Mental health.
- Disaster relief efforts.
Each of these efforts inspires hope and compassionate service to others.
How to Contribute
The Fund accepts gifts in a variety of forms, with an emphasis on those that can be used immediately. Stock and other property which can be easily liquidated are also options when considering your gift. Please contact The Catholic Foundation at 972-661-9792 for details.

Does my participation in the Sister Sister Clinic support lacrosse programs?
Yes, money raised will support athletic and lacrosse programs that are meaningful to the Harber family.
All donations should be made payable to The Catholic Foundation with reference to "The Blair and Brooke Harber Beloved Sisters Fund of The Catholic Foundation." All payments are contributions to The Catholic Foundation, a Texas non-profit corporation that is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and a public charity under sections 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and 509(a)(1) of the Code. Generally, contributions to it are deductible to the maximum extent permitted by section 170(b) of the Code. The Blair and Brooke Harber Beloved Sisters Fund of The Catholic Foundation is a fund owned by The Catholic Foundation.
